Ty Shattuck

Ty Shattuck heads the McMaster Innovation Park (MIP) in Hamilton, Ontario. As a professional Engineer, Ty is no stranger to developing new technologies to address emerging industry problems. He was awarded Engineer of the year from the Ontario Society for Professional Engineers in 2010. Under his leadership as President/CEO of the geospatial technology firm PV Labs, the company was named one of Canada’s top 200 fastest growing companies.
Ty holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

Michael has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Michael was a senior executive at Scotiabank having held the position of Head of Global Fixed Income. He built, led, and managed teams in eleven countries across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to Scotiabank, Michael worked for Royal Bank of Canada across a broad base of activities including corporate and commercial banking, risk management, and capital markets. Alfredo was most recently the Senior Vice-President of Strategy, Data and Products at Rogers Sports & Media. Previously he was the Chief Marketing Officer and the first Chief Digital & Innovation Officer at WestJet Airlines.
He is a former Facebook & Instagram Executive in Canada, and a founding team member in early 2009. He went on to work with the leadership team in Asia-Pacific in 2016 to help launch Facebook and Instagram in the Philippines as the first Country Manager. Similar management and leadership assignments took him throughout Southeast Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia & Indonesia) and Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina & Brazil).
Alfredo is a former Senior Director at Yahoo! in Silicon Valley as a member of the Connected Life team. Previously he was at Sympatico MSN working in the Strategic Alliances and Business Development group. He started his career in Systems Engineering & Design at Bell Nexxia, a division of BCE Inc.
